A small Edinburgh workshop with a long memory.
We started making radiator covers in 1997 and never stopped. No factories, no outsourcing — every cabinet is built here and fitted by the same people who made it.
Why bespoke matters
Off-the-shelf covers rarely fit a real Edinburgh home. Victorian skirting, uneven walls, pipe runs in odd places — each one is a small puzzle. A made-to-measure cabinet solves the puzzle; a flat-pack hides it, usually badly.
What we care about
- Fit. Millimetre-accurate measurements, site visit before we cut a thing.
- Heat performance. Grille designs and ventilation that don't strangle your radiator.
- Longevity. Engineered timber that handles decades of radiator cycling without buckling.
- Finish. Hand-sanded, primed, painted or left natural — finished the way you'd finish a piece of furniture, not a utility item.
Where we work
Mostly within 30 minutes of the workshop — Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian, West Lothian and Fife. We've worked on flats in Marchmont, townhouses in Corstorphine, a castle near Penicuik (65 cabinets, if you're wondering) and everything in between.
How it starts
Usually with a photo and a WhatsApp message. We'll come out, take measurements, talk through styles, and send you a written estimate — no charge, no pressure.
